Privacy & Confidentiality
I collect only the information necessary for counselling, such as contact details and brief session notes. Records are stored securely, retained for 7 years, and then securely destroyed. I comply with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Confidentiality may only be broken where there are safeguarding concerns or a legal duty to disclose, and wherever possible this will be discussed with you beforehand.
Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or not attended, will be charged at the full session fee.

If I need to cancel a session, I will provide as much notice as possible and no fee will be charged.
Terms & Conditions

Payment must be made by bank transfer.

Payment must be received no later than 24 hours before the scheduled session.- Sessions not paid for in advance may not go ahead.

By beginning counselling, you agree to the following,

Framework: Sessions: 50 minutes. If you arrive late, the session will still finish at the agreed time.

Confidentiality: Information is confidential except where safeguarding or legal obligations require disclosure.

Payment at least 24 hours in advance.

Complaints: Raise concerns directly with me. If unresolved, you may contact my professional body, the NCPS. A full Terms & Conditions document is available on request.
